INDIANAPOLIS – You can now head to the north side of town for some great deals on eating out as Northside Nights Restaurant Week kicks off.
From Monday through Oct. 4, you can nab three-course discounted meals at over 30 restaurants.
There are so many great places to eat in this town, we had to narrow it down to three to expand upon.
I chose my three favorites, but for more restaurants, deals and info, here is the website for the special restaurant week.
Hellas Café
As a daughter of a Chicagoan, I’ve eaten my fair share of Greek food. My family believes Hellas is the best in the city. And while it’s not always the cheapest fare, this is the perfect week to try it out and realize – it’s definitely worth the price.
And this week, it’s just $30 for two people. Full details here.
For your stop at Hellas this Northside Nights week, I recommend the tsatziki appetizer, the gyro platter (or the Spanikopita, yum) for dinner, and baklava for dessert.
Divvy
The small-plate style restaurant sits in the heart of Carmel and allows both in- and outdoor seating. Because everything is delicious, it’s usually easy to rack up a pricey bill when you just keep ordering plates upon plates. That’s why Northside Nights is a great time to try out Divvy: It’s $30 apiece, which is probably way lower than you’d normally spend.
Another great reason Divvy works for this restaurant week: It features a ton of its items for the specialty menu. Find that menu here.
I recommend the beer cheese fondue for course 1, the grilled baby bok choy for course 2, the pork egg rolls for course 3 and the butterscotch-bourbon glaze blondie bite for dessert.
Giordano’s
If you haven’t tried it since it came to Indy, you should. It’s offering two-for-$35 specials for this round of Northside Nights, which includes drinks. I recommend the Moscow Mule for two. Tap or click here for Giordano's special menu.
