INDIANAPOLIS -- Take your place in Indiana's history.

A professional photographer is taking 300 black and white portraits to get a snapshot of Indiana in 2016.

Your picture will be part of a live exhibit and it will become part of the Indiana Historical Society's digital archives.

The photographs are being taken from noon to 4 p.m. on Friday, Saturday or Sunday at the Indiana Historical Society, 450 W. Ohio Street.

Admission is free.

You'll be able to get a print out of your picture or you can download a copy from the Historical Society's Facebook page.
