INDIANAPOLIS — Prom is a glamorous night where you dress up, dance and create memories that last a lifetime. On Wednesday, Riley Hospital for Children helped some of their patients get ready to experience the excitement of prom night.
Volunteers took the kids and their families shopping at Promingdales on Wednesday for their dresses and tuxes. Riley patients were able to choose their dream outfits for the upcoming Riley Cancer Center Family Prom.
"I'm trying on dresses for the Riley Prom... which was great," Lauren McGlaughlin said. "My family is here, and you just get to forget about anything medical for a night - which is wonderful."
The 10th Annual Riley Cancer Center Family Prom is set for Friday, May 3. The theme is "Be The Star You Are."
