INDIANAPOLIS — A bill to help better protect your kids on and around the school bus is Indiana's latest law.

Gov. Eric Holcomb signed the legislation Thursday. It increases penalties for drivers who do not stop when a school bus arm is out.

Lawmakers proposed the bill after three children were hit and killed at a bus stop in Fulton County last October. Their parents attended the signing ceremony.
