MARION, Ind. -- One man is under arrest and another is in critical condition from a gunshot wound following a fight at a club in Marion early Sunday morning.

Officers say two men got into a verbal altercation inside RD's Club in the 1500 block of S. McClure St.

One of the men left the club and got into an SUV while the other reportedly fired multiple shots at the vehicle.

Police say they heard the shots and located the SUV and a Ford Mustang near 10th and Gallatin Streets.

There was a bullet hole in the rear bumper of the Mustang.

A man who was sitting the backseat of the SUV, Joshua Bledsoe, 32, of Marion, was slouched over and officers say he appeared to have a gunshot wound to the head.

Bledsoe was taken to a hospital in Ft. Wayne where he's listed in critical condition.

Shortly after the ambulance left, a Mercedes Benz pulled up to the scene. The driver said his car had also been hit by gunfire.  Police found a bullet hole in the car's front quarter panel.

While officers were checking the area, they found a man lying in a yard between two houses.

Kyle L. Johnson, 30, was taken into custody and questioned.

Police say Johnson confessed to the shooting.

He was arrested on charges of aggravated murder and aggravated battery.
