GREENFIELD, Ind. -- Police are asking the public to help them track down a possible suspect vehicle in the theft of urns from Park Cemetery in Greenfield last April.
Det. Randy Ratliff with Greenfield Police says the burgundy 2006 Chrysler Town and Country minivan with Ohio plates was riding lower when it left the cemetery.
Ratliff stresses that police don't know if the driver of the van was visiting a family grave site and removed the urns or if person is an actual suspect in the thefts.
Greenfield police say they have had 20 reports of urns stolen this year and they believe the thefts could be connected to cases in Knightstown and in Ohio.
If you have any information about this vehicle or the urn thefts, you're asked to call Greenfield Police.
