HAMILTON COUNTY — Hamilton Southeastern Schools say they will have increased police presence on Tuesday after receiving several reports of students receiving anonymous emails.

The schools shared a message on Facebook saying the messages were coming to the student's Office365 school email accounts.

They have not said what type of messages the email contained, but they are believed to be from a possible prank and do not specifically mention any Hamilton Southeastern school, the district said.

"We believe this may be related to a 'senior prank,' and nothing specific related to one of our schools has been mentioned," Hamilton Southeastern said in their message. "Police are currently investigating. As an additional safety precaution, there will be increased police presence at our buildings today."
