CARMEL, Ind. -- The long-awaited opening of Carmel's Christkindlmarkt and Ice rink has been delayed until Sunday because of severe weather.
The opening ceremony was scheduled to take place Saturday morning but was pushed back multiple times because of weather.

The Christkindlmarkt and Ice at Center Green will now open Sunday, November 19 from 1 - 9 p.m.

The city of Carmel's Santa and entertainment portion of Holiday at the Center Green will still take place between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Saturday but has been moved to the fire bay at Fire Headquarters at Civic Square.
