CARMEL, Ind. – Carmel firefighters held a remembrance ceremony Monday morning for the people who lost their lives in the U.S. 2001 terror attacks.
"We have some firefighters now that are 22 or 23 years old,” said Tim Griffin. “These firefighters were young when this happened. For them, it's not as close memory as for some other firefighters we have here. Some of the people on task force one that went down and helped during those moments."
