CARMEL, Ind. – A Carmel computer software company may close its doors for good and more than 60 people could lose their jobs by 2018.

Prysm on North College Avenue is in discussions with potential investors, but no commitments have been secured, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) sent to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development from the company’s CEO Amit Jain.

The WARN notice stated if the plant closes, 61 layoffs would be expected by January 21, 2018.

Layoffs would include several engineers, project managers, other technical support workers, among others, the notice stated.

Prysm has eight other U.S. locations and six international locations, according to its website.
