CARMEL, Ind. -- The Carmel Symphony Orchestra is breaking glass ceilings.
This year, the symphony welcomes its first ever female conductor. Her name is Janna Hymes.
"From the moment I arrived, I felt at home with this orchestra that nurtures artistic creativity and community,” says Hymes. “I look forward to sharing many fantastic musical experiences with the orchestra and Carmel community."
Opening night for the season is Oct. 14.
