Fishers releases construction schedule for December

Posted

FISHERS, Ind. -- Work is about to commence for improvements along 106th Street in Fishers. Residents were notified in September of the city’s year-long plan to widen the street and simultaneously install a new water main. Portions of 106th between 169 and Eller Road will be closed at various times, however, I69 will remain open.

Initially, the city told residents to expect work to begin in late November, but the construction schedule was not released until earlier this week. Crews will begin later this month doing work along Eller Road near the 106th intersection. There will be lane restrictions in the area, but access to Heritage Park and neighborhoods will be open.

From there, the project will make its way eastward. 106th between Eller and Allisonville is slated to close January through February; Allisonville to Hague closed February through March, and Hague to Crosspoint BLVD closed from February through April. There will be additional periodic closures at various locations through October 2018.
