FISHERS, Ind. -- Archers Meats and Catering will be closing for good in Fishers after over five decades of service in the community.
Owners Ron and Michele Archer opened the store in 1966 and moved to downtown Fishers in 1969. The business posted to their Facebook page on Thursday that they are planning to retire the Fishers store after 51 years of service in the community.
Archers Meats and Catering will be open through Saturday at 4 p.m. when they will close their doors for the last time.
“We also want to give special thanks to Mayor Fadness for all his support,” The business posted on Facebook. “We truly support the wonderful job he has been doing for Fishers.”
The Greenwood location will remain open.
