FISHERS, Ind. – Families can learn the actions needed to be taken in the event of an emergency during Safety Day 2017 in Fishers this weekend.
Fishers Fire and Emergency Services, along with St. Vincent Fishers, will come together Saturday to focus on preventing injuries. There will be informational booths and live demonstrations for children and parents.
The city of Fishers, police agencies, the Department of Natural Resources, United States Army, Marine Corp., Navy Air Force and National Guard will have a presence at Safety Day 2017.
Vendors will also have information available that can be used to improve safety practices around the home.
Along with the many safety events, there will be food samples from many of Fishers’ restaurants.
The event will take place in the parking lot of St. Vincent Fishers and is free to the public.
