HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. -- In central Indiana, the month of May revolves around the black and white checkered flag at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
While drivers are turning fast laps, the Hamilton County Humane Society is offering a unique deal, in hopes you'll race over and adopt animals that are in need.
This entire month, the humane society is offering a special on black and white pets, which are the colors of the checkered flag.
Black and white cats are $10 and black and white dogs are $15.
Pets who are eligible for the discount, will have a racing flag on their kennel or cage.
The Hamilton County Humane Society is at 1721 Pleasant Street in Noblesville.
You can adopt any day except for Wednesday, which is when the Humane Society is closed.
