HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. -- An elderly couple and their son were found dead in their Hamilton County home on Christmas Day.

The three bodies were discovered by a family member around 4:30 p.m. in a house in the 11200 block of E. 191st St.

The Hamilton County Sheriff says they are conducting a death investigation, but are not looking for a suspect.

The three have been identified as Donald Moon Sr., 84, Joyce Moon, 81, and Todd Moon, 48.

The sheriff's office says neighbors reported hearing gunshots earlier that day.

Detectives said they "have not ruled out the possibility of a murder-suicide," but have not confirmed it at this point in the investigation.

In an earlier version of this story, RTV6 erroneously identified the female victim as Donna Moon. Her name is Joyce Moon. We regret the error.
