Posted

GREENFIELD — The only homeless shelter in Greenfield is asking for the public's help after flooding caused severe damage to its thrift store.

The thrift store located inside the Hope House building sustained nearly $10,000 in damage from flooding on Monday, including the loss of 25 bags of clothing.

The store, which provides 35 percent of the shelter's income, is currently accepting monetary donations and will begin accepting clothing donations beginning Friday.
