GREENFIELD -- Kathy Elkins was sitting at home in Greenfield watching television with her husband late in the evening last November when she heard a loud boom.
An SUV had gone into her house.
The Elkins' were not hurt, but the house was pushed off its foundation and damage was estimated at $50,000.
Now, Greenfield Police have made two arrests in this case, 35-year-old Paula Sandaire and a 15-year-old.
Streets was slippery the night of November 26 when Sandaire lost control of her vehicle and it went into the house in the 1100 block of West 7th, Street.
Police say the two suspects had just been involved in setting a car on fire about one block from the house.
The arson was the result of a dispute between two juveniles, according to police.
Sandaire faces many charges including arson, criminal recklessness and neglect of a dependent.
