HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. -- Hancock Wellness Center in Greenfield is now offering boxing classes for people with Parkinson’s disease.

Rock Steady Boxing classes are for people who have been medically diagnosed by their doctor. Rock Steady coaches will work to modify the boxing for each individual level of Parkinson’s, and fitness.

The class aims to teach patients to focus on a new skill and a stress reliever while addressing many of the symptoms of Parkinson’s.

All participants will need to go through an assessment process before they can participate.

Classes are held from 2:30-4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays at Hancock Wellness Center, 888 W. New Road in Greenfield.
