AVON, Ind. -- An urn with remains was found in the parking lot of Menards in Avon, and police are hoping someone knows who it belongs to.
The Avon Police Department said the cardboard urn was found on February 7 by employees at the store. They kept the urn, hoping the owner would return for it, but they never did.
The store turned the urn over to the Avon Police Department on Thursday.
The urn has the image of water and a sunset on the outside of the container.
