UPDATE: A Verizon spokesman said the issue has been resolved. Any customers still experiencing issues are asked to restart their phone.
INDIANAPOLIS — Are you having trouble making or receiving calls on your Verizon Wireless cell phone? You're not alone!
Verizon says they are aware of an issue affecting some customers in the Midwest. The interruptions appear to be affecting customers with the 4G LTE services the most.
"Our engineers are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it quickly," the company said in a statement to RTV6.
DownDetector's map shows the outage in Indianapolis as well as most of southern Michigan and other areas like Pittsburgh and New York.
The outages have been ongoing for two days. Verizon says it is unsure when it will return to full service.
