BROWNSBURG, Ind. -- The Amber Alert for three boys from Brownsburg has been canceled. Police say the boys are safe and their father is now in custody.

The alert was issued for the 2, 5 and 8-year-old boys after police were unable to locate their father, Christhian Garcia, in connection with a double shooting Tuesday evening.

The children were found safe within an hour of the Amber Alert being issued and will be reunited with their family.

The children's mother was one of two people shot outside the HomeGoods Distribution Center on Northfield Drive. She was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The other person shot was last listed in critical condition.
