BROWNSBURG, Ind. -- A Hendricks County farm is selling pink pumpkins and more during the month of October to raise funds and awareness in the fight against breast cancer.
Jacob Frazee, who runs Hogan Farms Pumpkin Patch and Corn Field, said they decided to plant the Pink Porcelain Doll Pumpkins this year to show their support for those who are battling breast cancer and to help raise money for the cause. Part of all proceeds from the pink pumpkins will go to the Sweet Melissa Foundation.
“With it being October, we wanted to do something for all the people out there who are fighting breast cancer,” said Frazee. It’s not just the pumpkins though, Frazee said they’ve dedicated most of their farm to the fight against breast cancer this year.
Their 10-acre corn maze is also in a “fight cancer” design and Frazee said they have some “special” events in the works for later this month.
“We’d like to get a lot of people out here to fight cancer with us,” said Frazee. Frazee.
There’s something for the whole family at Hogan Farms including u-pick pumpkins, hay rides, a corn maze, petting zoo and so much more.
Hogan Farms Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze is located at 8900 E County Road 1000 N in Brownsburg.
