INDIANAPOLIS -- A woman was hit and killed on I-70 in Hendricks County late Friday evening.
Indiana State Police were called to an accident along on I-70 near the 59.8 mile marker just before 10:30 p.m.
State police say a woman was walking along the eastbound lanes of the highway when she was struck and killed.
The Hendricks County Coroner identified the woman as Nicole Thomas-Kirch, 42.
The accident remains under investigation by Indiana State Police.
