VERONA, WISCONSIN — Later this year, a few select college graduates will begin life in the real world at the wheel of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.

We're not kidding!

Oscar Mayer has openings for graduating college seniors to spend one-year driving one of its Wienermobiles around the USA.

The company says it needs "outgoing, creative, friendly, enthusiastic, graduating college seniors who have an appetite for adventure and are willing to see the country through the windshield of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile."

Applicants should have a BA or BS, preferably in public relations, journalism, communications, advertising or marketing, though applicants are not limited to these degrees.

Basically, those who are hired will be running their own mobile public relations business as a "brand ambassador" for Oscar Mayer. That means television, radio and newspaper interviews along with appearing at grocery retail and charity functions.

The company says it needs people to coordinate all aspects of Wienermobile travel and event management. The job pays a "competitive salary," and expenses, benefits and team apparel are part of the deal.

So, if you or a person you know can "cut the mustard" for these positions, send a resume to:
