HUNTINGTON, Ind. -- Police are trying to track down vandals who they say spray painted "KKKK" on a historic tank at Huntington's Veterans Memorial Park over the weekend.
The city of Huntington posted the photo on Facebook saying that the tank serves as the pride of the park.
The post said that the graffiti was part of a "wave of vandalism" and "Disrespect of monuments to the brave men and women who have fought and died for this country will not be tolerated."
Police are asking anyone with information about this or any of the acts of vandalism over the weekend to contact the Huntington Police Department at (260) 356-7110.
