Hoosier Helpers help INDOT spot potholes

INDIANAPOLIS -- You've probably seen their trucks on roadways in central Indiana.

The Hoosier Helpers program is meant to help keep interstates safe, provide traffic control and medical assistance, and offer limited roadside assistance if needed.

Hoosier Helpers are also performing a service for INDOT. They are reporting potholes along state roads when they see them.

Since potholes can damage vehicles, it makes sense the Hoosier Helpers would let INDOT know about any problem spots.

INDOT also wants to remind drivers to keep on reporting potholes themselves.  Click hereto report one on an interstate, U.S. highway or state road.
