INDIANAPOLIS -- A fire destroyed a home on Indy's south side early Sunday morning.
The fire broke out in the 500 block of East Terrace Avenue around 7 a.m.
Indianapolis Fire Department crews arrived on the scene to flames shooting through the roof of the home.
Neighbors said a pregnant woman lived at the home and the woman's boyfriend showed up to the home crying because he could not reach her.
He said he was trying to open the back door of the home as it was burning, when he heard screaming.
A cause for this fire is also not yet known.
