If you haven't gotten your Christmas tree yet, you're in luck: RTV6's Lauren Casey has what you need to know to get the perfect tree.
Lauren visited Dull's Tree Farm to find out the things to keep in mind when picking out your tree:
- Pick a real tree – don't pick a fake one.
- Know the location you are going to display the tree in your house.
- Bring your opinion on the type of tree: Whether you love a Douglas fir or a blue spruce matters.
- Spruce trees won't last as long as other types of trees once cut.
- Take a needle and bend it between your fingers: If it breaks, find another tree.
- Give the base a fresh cut before sticking the tree in water.
- When the tree gets dry, remove it from the house.
