HOWARD COUNTY — A 65-year-old man from Russiaville died this week in a tree trimming incident.
Deputies with the Howard County Sheriff’s Office were called to a house near 600 West and State Road 22 Thursday afternoon for a welfare check.
They found an unresponsive man suspended about 40 feet from the ground in a bucket truck.
The man was pronounced dead at 4:50 p.m. He was later identified as William C. Lidy, 65.
An autopsy has scheduled, and the case remains under investigation.
