Who would do such a thing? Just over 1,000 high school students and adults are taking part in Special Olympics 2020 Polar Plunge Friday and Saturday.
According to Indiana Special Olympics Special Events Director Stephanie Manner, the Polar Plunge is a fundraiser to support the activities of Special Olympics in Indianapolis and around the state.
Friday's Polar Plunge was for high school students. On Saturday, the "community-at-large" plunge will take place at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
