INDIANAPOLIS — Hundreds of cultural items seized from a Rush County farm during a 2014 investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation are set to be returned to the People's Republic of China on Thursday.
According to a news release from the FBI Indianapolis Division, 361 Chinese cultural artifacts will be repatriated during a ceremony at the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis. It is the largest return of items from the United States to China.

Among those who will attend the ceremony are a contingency from Beijing, officials from the Chinese Embassy in Washington D.C. and the Chinese Consulate in Chicago as well as members of the FBI Art Crime Team, members of the U.S. State Department and the professor and graduate students from IUPUI who have been involved with the care and repatriation of the artifacts since their recovery.
The Chinese artifacts were among thousands of cultural items seized from the farm during the 2014 investigation. Artifacts from that case have been repatriated to a number of countries including Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, New Zealand and Spain.
