INDIANAPOLIS — A semitruck fire on the northeast side of Indianapolis has shut down part of I-465 during the Friday morning rush.
I-465 northbound is closed between 71st Street and I-69.
A semitruck caught fire near the exit for I-69/Binford Boulevard. Firefighting efforts left a lot of water on the roadway that could be dangerous to drivers.
It’s unclear how long the closure will last.
