INDIANAPOLIS -- Roads are not the only concern when it gets cold. When temperatures dip, there is normally a rise in the number of house fires.

Firefighters continue to investigate a deadly house fire on the city's north side.

A woman died in the fire in the 5900 block of Coburn Avenue late Saturday night.

The woman's name has not been released.

Sunday morning, a fire damaged a mobile home on the city's northeast side, killing the family dog.

The fire happened in the 5200 block of Massachusetts Avenue.

Indianapolis firefighters say the man who lives in the home is OK, but a 10-year-old dog died.

There is no word yet on how the fire started, but it caused $45,000 in damage.

A baby, man, and woman are expected to recover after jumping out of a second story window to escape an apartment fire Saturday night near North Arlington Avenue.

Emergency crews took all of them to the hospital, but all are expected to recover.
