INDIANAPOLIS -- One person was shot on Indianapolis' north side Sunday morning.
Police were called to the scene in the 2200 block of Bellefontaine Street after gunshots were reported around 10:30 a.m. This is the second shooting reported in that block within 24 hours.

Officer said a man was walking on the sidewalk near a home at 2949 Bellefontaine Street when he was shot twice - once in the arm and once in the leg.
The man was transported to the hospital by ambulance and was able to talk.
Police are investigating the source of the gunshots.
No information on the victim's condition have been released.
The victim's name has also not been released.
