Indianapolis -- A man was found dead on Indianapolis' west side early Saturday morning.
Police were called to the scene at 14th Street and Exeter Street around 5:15 a.m. after someone reported seeing a body.
When Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers arrived on the scene they found the male lying in the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Marion County Coroner identified the man as Patrick Brewer, 48.
Police say Brewer had injuries to his head and facial area. An autopsy will be done on Monday to determine his cause of death.
The death remains under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
