IMPD looking for man who rode bike into laundromat, stabbed woman

INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department detectives are searching for a man who rode a bicycle into a laundromat Tuesday night and then stabbed a woman before riding away.

IMPD officers responded at 8:45 p.m. to reports of a person stabbed in the 6100 block of E. 38th Street.

When police arrived they found a woman with severe cuts to her right arm. She was treated at the scene then taken to IU Methodist Hospital.

The suspect used a knife with an orange-colored sheath and rode an orange or red colored bike.
