IMPD finds missing Indianapolis man with dementia

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has located an Indianapolis man, after he was declared missing on Thursday evening.

According to an IMPD release, the department's missing person detectives were looking for Reynold Smith, 69, who was last seen Thursday afternoon at 2300 N. Sheridan Ave.

Smith is described as a black male, who is 5-feet-10-inches tall, weighs 200 pounds and is bald with a beard. He was last seen wearing a blue plaid shirt, black pants and black Velcro shoes.

Smith suffers from dementia and wears a silver alert bracelet.
