Three missing Indianapolis children located; police searching for mother

INDIANAPOLIS – The three children reported missing in an Amber Alert Tuesday night were found safe on the city's northwest side.

A spokesperson with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the three children were located in the 2000 block of North Luett Avenue, however they are still looking for the mother of the children, Mekielle Yaneek Pullins, 22.

The children were taken into the care of the Department of Child Services for safety.

Pullins is described as black woman standing 5-foot-8-inches tall and weighing about 143 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.  Police said she is also known by the nickname of “Me me.”

Around 9 p.m., Indiana State Police issued an Amber Alert for Pullins who was believed to have her children in immediate danger.
