IMPD searching for man who stole $3,800 painting from Conrad Hotel

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify a man who they say stole an expensive painting from the Conrad Hotel. 

According to police, the unidentified man walked into the hotel on Washington Street on August 4, took the painting off the wall, and then exited from the West Washington Street door of the hotel with the artwork. 

The stolen painting is titled 'Myself #70" by artist Jason Myers and is valued at $3,800. 

The Conrad Hotel is a luxury hotel in downtown Indianapolis. It offers 247 guestrooms including luxury suites that feature world-renowned art. The Conrad has also been inducted into the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame.
