Indiana auto dealership owner injured in Las Vegas crash

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Ray Skillman was injured in the Sportsman qualifying race in Las Vegas, Nevada Thursday.

Skillman, who owns many car dealerships in central Indiana, was involved in a crash between himself and another driver, according to NHRA.com.

Skillman had to be extracted from the car.

He was taken to the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada.

He suffered a broken vertebrae, a broken hip and various cuts and bruises, but he's expected to be back at the track on Saturday.
