INDIANAPOLIS -- St. Vincent Indianapolis is now a verified Level I Trauma Center.
The verification, by the American College of Surgeons, means the hospital is equipped for and capable of providing the highest level of care for patients with the most serious injuries.

St. Vincent is now the third verified adult Level I Trauma Center in Indiana. IU Health Methodist Hospital and Eskenazi Health are the other two.
