INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Animal Care and Control is desperately trying to find homes for hundreds of animals.

The shelter needs people to adopt or foster dogs, specifically, as they are over capacity by over 100 animals, with a total of 500.

If you decided to take a dog into foster care, the shelter will provide everything needed for the animal.

"We provide everything.  Food, vet care, litter if it is a cat or kitten or a family of cats.  But yes, we provide everything, you just provide a home, love, and a lap,” said Susan Hobbs, community outreach coordinator.
