INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians are thanking their fans for helping the team end the 2016 season with the highest overall attendance in Minor League Baseball.

636,888 fans came to Victory Field to root on the Indians during the '16 season.

"An accomplishment like this is a testament to our amazing fans that support Indians baseball year after year and our entire staff that helps create such a wonderful atmosphere at Victory Field. It's a great recipe for success," said Randy Lewandowksi, Indianapolis Indians general manager.

Another amazing statistic for the team - Victory Field passed the 12 million fan benchmark in 2016, the 20th season of baseball at the ballpark.
