INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis International Airport has received another accolade.  It has been ranked one of the best airports in the U.S. by readers of Travel + Leisure magazine.

Our airport took the second place spot among the top 10 airports for another consecutive year.

Travelers were asked to rate airports based upon a variety of services including access, check-in, security, restaurants, bars, shopping and design.

Travel + Leisure says the Indianapolis Airport prioritizes access and security.  It also noted that the airport added more than 300 charging stations in 2016 and installed two children's play areas and water bottle filling stations.

So what airport keeps beating us out in the magazine's rankings?

For the fifth year in a row, Portland International Airport has claimed the top spot.

Travel + Leisure says the airport is tops because of its easy navigation, local artwork and food offerings.
