INDIANAPOLIS -- Police in Indianapolis have arrested three people connected to a string of vehicle break-ins in the Castleton area.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, a detective witnessed a group of men breaking in to vehicles in the area of 82nd and Center Run Drive around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

Officers arrested Christopher Harris, AB Robinson-Hunn and Reginald Parker.

Police say they would drive around and look into cars. If they saw something of value, they would break a window. It happened to Jennifer Havens, "I met a friend up in Castleton at Los Cabos. This man came up to the table and asked us what kind of car we drove, and we answered, he said your window got smashed out of your car. So my first thought was, oh please let him be wrong. Unfortunately he wasn't wrong. We walked out and sure enough the window was smashed out of the car."

Two handguns were also recovered during the arrests.
