INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Public Library hopes you are giving the gift of books this holiday season, and they're making it very affordable with a free book.

The library has begun its annual 'Jingle Books' program.

The goal of Jingle Books is to help children develop the reading skills they need to succeed in life and improve reading scores while in school.

Parents, grandparents, guardians, can drop by an Indianapolis Public Library branch and select a free book for each child, from a big red box.

They even have wrapping paper and bows so you can put it under the tree.
