INDIANAPOLIS -- A shooting suspect was nowhere to be found after a standoff with police on Indianapolis' north side Monday morning.
The incident began when a person was shot near the intersection of Pennwood Drive and Evanston Avenue. He was shot in the leg and was alert when taken to a hospital.
A few minutes later, police thought they found a suspect inside a house a couple blocks away, near the intersection of Pennwood Drive and Rosslyn Avenue.
Police outside were yelling, "Come outside right now, this is the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department!"
