INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Ten Point Coalition plans to expand its crime prevention services across the state and the Midwest.

Over the past few months, group leaders visited several cities that expressed interest in using Ten Point’s model to address crime in their communities.

By the end of the year, the organization hopes to become active in cities like Kokomo, Muncie, Fort Wayne and Gary.

Ten Point is also working with community leaders in Louisville and Cleveland to cut down on gun violence in those cities.

Due to the expansion, Paul Norris, who previously served as the IUPUI police chief, will step in as interim executive director. Charles Ellis Jr., former director, will take over as director of state and regional chapters.
