Indianapolis This Week went Hollywood, with a special Oscars edition Sunday.
Jason Fechner and Brad Brown hosted the special, on location show at the historic Artcraft Theatre in downtown Franklin.
Brad Brown explained how a phone call to IU Bloomington helped lead to the success of “The Revenant.”

It’s been 30 years since “Hoosiers” hit movie theaters, and on this anniversary, Jason Fechner introduced a documentary filmmaker who has recreated some of the great shots from the iconic movie.

And the show went inside some of central Indiana’s historic movie theaters, where walking in to see a film is like taking a step back in time.
RTV6 is the only place you can see the Oscars on Sunday. The show will start at 5:00 p.m. with the red carpet, followed by the opening ceremony at 7:00 pm. and the awards show at 8:30 p.m.
